Our Team
good people, talented folks, hard workers
Emily Geddes, WHNP
My clinical focus includes routine fertility care, cycle optimization, ovulatory dysfunction, hypothalamic amenorrhea, postpartum care, and both routine and problem-focused gynecology. I frequently work with patients experiencing irregular or abnormal cycles, pelvic pain, and heavy or painful periods, and I have a particular passion for supporting women navigating the effects of chronic stress and under-fueling on their hormones and fertility.
I am uniquely trained in FEMM as both a fertility educator and a FEMM medical provider. I love helping patients learn to understand and work with their cycles, and I am deeply passionate about patient education—believing that knowledge is one of the most powerful tools for healing and long-term health.
My approach to care is shaped by both my clinical training and personal experience. I experienced hypothalamic amenorrhea due to an eating disorder in my late teens and understand firsthand the complexity of recovering hormonal health. That experience continues to inform the way I care for patients today, allowing me to approach these concerns with both clinical expertise and deep empathy. I believe true healing happens when we address not only hormones, but also nutrition, lifestyle, and emotional wellbeing.
Before becoming a nurse practitioner, I worked as a registered nurse in labor and delivery, as well as antepartum, postpartum, and women’s oncology care. This foundation continues to shape my approach, allowing me to care for women across a wide range of experiences—from routine gynecology to complex reproductive and postpartum needs.
I earned my undergraduate degree in Medicine, Health and Society from Vanderbilt University, completed my nursing training at Duke University, and went on to become a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner through Georgetown University.
Patients often seek me out for my thorough, detail-oriented approach and my ability to clearly explain complex hormone and gynecologic concerns. I am known for taking the time to ensure patients feel deeply heard, cared for, and confident in their care, and I strive to walk alongside each patient with a collaborative, personalized plan.
Outside of the clinic, my husband and I can be found exploring Colorado, going on runs, drinking too much coffee, or planning our next Disney trip! We spend most of our time with our local church community and our sweet daughter Ella.
