Advanced Fertility Care

Sometimes we need the basics.
Sometimes we need to go deeper.
And sometimes we combine both.

When appropriate, we offer advanced, targeted therapies to support ovulation, egg quality, uterine health, and immune balance — always within a thoughtful, root-cause framework.

Optimize Follicular Development & Ovulation

Healthy ovulation is the cornerstone of natural fertility. If ovulation is inconsistent or suboptimal, we have multiple tools to support it.

These may include:

Bioidentical hormores

Used strategically to support and retrain the body’s natural hormone production while we address underlying imbalances.

Gonadotropin therapy (FSH/LH injections)

For women who do not respond to first-line medications, injectable hormones can provide more advanced support.

Ovulation-supporting medications

Clomid, letrozole, or tamoxifen may be used to improve follicular recruitment and optimize ovulation.

HCG trigger injections

Used to precisely strengthen ovulation for the highest-quality release of the egg.

Our approach is individualized — we use only what your body needs, nothing more.

Support Egg Quality

Egg quality is influenced by hormones, inflammation, mitochondrial health, blood flow, oxidative stress, and immune balance. We address all of it.

Advanced options may include:

Targeted IV therapy

Formulated to support antioxidant status and cellular energy production.

Strategic medication protocols

In select cases, therapies such as low-dose steroids, bioidentical testosterone, or sermorelin may be used to enhance ovarian environment and egg development.

Intraovarian PRP
(Platelet-Rich Plasma)

A regenerative procedure where your body’s own healing factors are concentrated and injected into the ovaries to support cellular function and ovarian response.

Enhance Uterine Lining & Blood Flow

A healthy uterine environment is essential for implantation and early pregnancy.

Depending on your evaluation, we may recommend:

Nutritional and supplement support

Vitamin E, L-arginine, low-dose aspirin, and other targeted therapies to improve uterine blood flow.

Bioidentical hormones and prescription therapies

Used to promote proper lining development and optimal circulation.

Anticoagulant therapy

For women with clotting disorders or recurrent pregnancy loss, medications such as aspirin or Lovenox may be appropriate.

HCG support
To enhance uterine receptivity.
Implantation-support IV therapy
Administered around ovulation to optimize the implantation window.

Intrauterine PRP
(PRP wash or injection)

A regenerative therapy using your body’s own platelets to stimulate and strengthen the uterine lining.

Operative hysteroscopy

A minimally invasive procedure to remove scar tissue, polyps, or unhealthy tissue and restore a clean, receptive uterine environment.

Reproductive Immunology & Inflammation Support

For some women, immune dysregulation or inflammation may interfere with ovulation or implantation.

When indicated, we may use:

Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN)
To gently regulate inflammation.

Targeted immune-modulating medications

Such as steroids, hydroxychloroquine, or tacrolimus in carefully selected cases.

IVIG therapy

For complex immune-related fertility cases requiring advanced immune modulation.
These therapies are used thoughtfully and selectively — only when testing and clinical history indicate they are necessary.

Our Philosophy:
We do not jump to the most aggressive treatment first.
We assess.
We personalize.
We layer strategically.

Every recommendation is based on your labs, your history, and your goals. That’s what makes our care both advanced and deeply individualized.

Procedures

Dye-free HSG (hysterosalpingogram or fallopian tube dye test)

An HSG is a procedure to check if your fallopian tubes are open. Usually this is done at an imaging center with dye and radiation. We can perform your HSG right here in the office with dye-free foam and under ultrasound which is radiation-free!

Pap Smears

If you’ve ever had an abnormal pap smear or want a wellness checkup, we can perform a pap smear to make sure your cervix is healthy. If you’ve never had a pap before, this is the place to do it because we are very gentle!

Colposcopies

If you have an abnormal pap smear, we can take a small biopsy of your cervix to make sure you don’t have any cancerous or precancerous cells.

Biopsies

If you have an area of concern on your skin or vaginal tissues, we can biopsy it and figure out what it is.

IUD Removal

If you are having side effects from an IUD, your IUD has expired or you are ready to start your conception journey, we can remove your IUD for you.

Nexplanon Removal

If your nexplanon is causing negative side effects, if it has expired or if you are ready to try to conceive, we can remove your nexplanon for you.

Endometrial Biopsy

An endometrial biopsy is a procedure where we take a sample of your uterine lining or endometrium to look at the health of your uterine cells and check for infection or inflammation. This can be done to look for causes of pelvic and period pain, infertility, recurrent miscarriage, and more.

Endometrial Scratch

If you are trying to conceive, we can perform an endometrial scratch procedure which brings healthy cytokines to your uterus to make your uterine lining healthier and ready for implantation.

Polyp Removal

We can remove cervical polyps that are causing abnormal bleeding or discomfort.

Incision and drainage of cysts: If you have a cyst in your vaginal area that is causing pain or discomfort, we can evaluate the cyst and drain it to provide relief and healing.

Pelvic Floor Trigger Point Injections

Surgery

Sometimes infertility or period problems can be caused by anatomic issues such as endometriosis, polyps, fibroids or scar tissue. Dr. Pederson is a restorative reproductive surgeon which means that she uses minimally invasive techniques to restore the natural functions of your body. Technique matters. Dr. Pederson is trained in robotic surgery and uses special techniques to delicately remove any pathology, promote proper healing and reduce inflammation, and prevent scarring.
