OBGYN, MD.
Dr. Sarah Pederson
My practice philosophy is that you should have a great relationship with your doctor and walk out of the office feeling like your doctor “gets” you. You should always feel like your doctor is listening to you and is making a plan that is in line with your goals and values.
I am a board certified OBGYN who specializes in fertility, holistic medicine and surgery. I am originally from Phoenix, Arizona. I studied Biomedical Engineering (nerd alert!) at USC (University of Southern California) in Los Angeles, and went to medical school at USC as well. I completed my OBGYN residency at UAB (University of Alabama at Birmingham) then moved to Denver where I have been ever since.
My women's health journey started when I was diagnosed with a large ovarian tumor and had to undergo major surgery. The surgery improved my fertility and I went on to have 4 beautiful kids. I am a Creighton Model Napro practitioner and trained in restorative, reproductive surgery. When we are not at work, my husband and I love traveling, camping, hiking and skiing.
Women's Health Nurse Practitioner
Emily Geddes, WHNP
I am a board-certified Women's Health Nurse practitioner (WHNP) and care deeply about taking the time to help women feel seen and loved in their healthcare needs, especially in areas as vulnerable and emotional as fertility and hormone balance.
I developed a passion for more natural approaches to women's healthcare after getting involved in eating disorders research in college and learning about how the female body adapts to and recovers from chronic nutritional stress. The overlap of mental health and reproductive health is an important focus for me!
I am originally from Houston, Texas and studied Medicine, Health and Society at Vanderbilt University. I went to nursing school at Duke University in North Carolina, and after seeing my first birth, fell in love with all things women's health. I continued my training at Georgetown University to become a WHNP. I am also trained in FEMM as both a fertility education and medical provider.
My husband Justen and I are new to Colorado (we love it so far!) and can be found exploring Denver, going on a run, drinking too much coffee, or planning our next Disney trip.
