Growing up just outside of Denver inspired my love for the outdoors, but I traded the mountains for the ocean to attend the University of Tampa, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology with minors in Chemistry and Computational Biostatistics. After graduation, I was excited to return home to Colorado to be closer to family while preparing for medical school.

I am thrilled to be back at Vera after interning with the team last summer. Throughout college, I gained hands-on clinical experience as a patient care technician at a nursing home while also serving as a teaching assistant for biology courses and laboratories. My passion for science also led me to molecular biology research, where I studied breast cancer epidemiology and the epigenetics of obesity. Today, in addition to my role at Vera, I conduct clinical research with a transplant surgery team.

Women’s health has always been a special interest of mine, and I love combining my enthusiasm for science with compassionate patient care. I enjoy helping patients feel heard, understood, and empowered to take an active role in their health.

When I’m not in the clinic or conducting research, you’ll probably find me exploring Colorado’s outdoors — whether I’m hiking, skiing, paddleboarding, taking long walks, or heading to a Pilates class. My goals for the next year include hiking as many 14ers as possible, become a certified lagree Pilates instructor, and traveling to as many new places as I can!
