The Vera Way

empowered, energized, and confident

Our goal
is simple

To help you deeply understand your body so you feel empowered, energized, and confident — and can build the family you desire as naturally as possible.
We take a comprehensive, root-cause approach to women’s health and fertility. Instead of guessing, we investigate.

Here’s how we do it:

Understand Your Unique Hormone Profile

We evaluate your full hormone picture — not just one lab value.

This may include:

  • A comprehensive lab panel assessing reproductive hormones, thyroid function, adrenal health, and key metabolic markers
  • Cycle tracking and ovulation confirmation using LH strips, Mira, Inito, or other advanced hormone monitoring tools

Our goal: to ensure your hormones are balanced and ovulation is truly optimized.

Assess Your Anatomy & Uterine Health

Healthy structure matters just as much as healthy hormones.

When appropriate, we may recommend:

  • A detailed pelvic ultrasound to evaluate the uterus, uterine lining, cervix, ovaries, and follicle development
  • Endometrial biopsy to assess uterine lining health and screen for inflammation or infection
  • Hysteroscopy to visualize the inside of the uterus and evaluate for scar tissue or polyps
  • Hysterosalpingogram (HSG) to assess and flush the fallopian tubes
  • Advanced vaginal microbiome testing

Our goal: to ensure your reproductive anatomy is healthy and functioning optimally.

Evaluate Your Nutritional Status

Nutrient deficiencies and oxidative stress can significantly impact hormones and egg quality.

We may assess:

  • Antioxidant levels
  • Vitamin, mineral, and micronutrient status
  • Mitochondrial health and cellular function

You’ll also work closely with our providers and dietitian to personalize your nutrition plan based on your unique biochemistry.

Optimize Your Metabolism

Your metabolic health directly influences hormone balance and fertility.

We may use:

  • Heart rate variability tracking
  • Continuous glucose monitoring

These tools help us understand how your body responds to stress, food, and daily life — so we can tailor recommendations specifically to you.

Support Gut Health

Your gut plays a critical role in hormone regulation and inflammation.

Advanced testing may evaluate:

  • Digestion and absorption
  • Gut microbiome balance
  • Inflammation, infections, parasites, or intestinal permeability (“leaky gut”)

Our goal: reduce inflammation and restore balance from the inside out.

Prioritize Mental & Emotional Health

Stress, anxiety, and mindset deeply influence hormone balance and fertility.

We offer collaborative support with our providers and therapist to help you:

  • Manage stress and anxiety
  • Address limiting beliefs
  • Cultivate a grounded, positive mindset for your health journey

Because healing is not just physical — it’s emotional too.

Conditions We Treat

Infertility

Infertility can be caused by so many different factors. Our evaluation can include advanced bloodwork, detailed ultrasound, semen analysis and other testing such as biopsies, hysteroscopy or laparoscopy. We have a number of different protocols and procedures that we tailor to what your body needs to optimize your fertility.

Recurrent Miscarriage

If you’ve had miscarriages in the past, we can do advanced bloodwork, biopsies and hysteroscopies to make sure your body is optimized for future fertility. We also offer cycle monitoring where we can look at your hormones and ovulation pattern each cycle to optimize fertility and see if there are any concerns.

Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS)

If you’ve been diagnosed with PCOS our goal is to make sure you have regular cycles, are ovulating, and that your metabolism is working well.

Ovulation Disorders

We can perform serial ultrasounds to check on your ovaries and make sure that your eggs are ovulating. If not, there are medications and protocols that can help promote healthy ovulation.

Endometriosis

Endometriosis is when endometrial cells grow somewhere other than inside your uterus, usually on the outside of your uterus, ovaries or fallopian tubes. During your period these cells can get very inflamed and cause pain. Usually the way to treat this is to remove it by laparoscopic approach that restores the natural functioning of your organs and hormones.

Hormone Imbalance

Do you feel like your hormones are off? Are you experiencing fatigue or weight changes? Our goal is to figure out where the hormone imbalances are and make a holistic treatment plan so you can feel great in your body.

If you have irregular cycles, PMS symptoms, fatigue, irritability during your cycle or abnormal bleeding- these can all be signs of hormone imbalance. We can teach you how to measure your hormones every day to look for imbalances that can be fixed so you go back to feeling amazing!

Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS)

If you have irritability, mood swings, crying spells, appetite changes and food cravings, trouble falling asleep or poor concentration before your period- these can be signs of a hormone imbalance! We can teach you how to find the imbalances and come up with a plan to re-balance your hormones.

Abnormal Bleeding

If you have spotting before your period, mid-period bleeding, brown bleeding after your period or very heavy cycles- this can be a sign or hormone imbalance, infection, or something else going on with your uterus or ovaries. With advanced bloodwork, swabs and ultrasound we can figure out what is going on and come up with a tailored protocol to fix it!

Irregular Periods

Our goal is that you have a cycle every 21-35 days, with no more than 3 days difference between cycles. If your cycles are not regular we should do an ultrasound and bloodwork to figure out what’s going on, and get your cycles regular again! Getting your body back to its regular cycling has long-lasting health implications.

Heavy or Painful Periods

If you have heavy bleeding where you are bleeding through many super-tampons or pads, or bleeding onto your clothes, or your periods are very painful, that is a sign that something is off! We can do advanced bloodwork, teach you how to monitor your hormones, perform a detailed ultrasound, or do biopsies, laparoscopy or hysteroscopy to figure out what is going on and make it better!

Uterine Fibroids

If you’ve been diagnosed with uterine fibroids, we can discuss how they are affecting your health and, if necessary, remove them!

Uterine Polyps

Mid-cycle bleeding or spotting after your period could be a sign of a uterine polyp! These can be removed with a minimally-invasive hysteroscopy.
